What You Are Getting
What You Are Getting
Cleaned and portioned as described on this page. Fish is trimmed and pin-boned, shellfish is purged and graded, crab and squid are ready to cook. Thaw overnight in the fridge rather than at room temperature, rinse shellfish under cold water just before it goes in the pot, and cook it sooner rather than later.

Seafood should arrive looking the way it left us. If a pack turns up damaged, warm, or simply not as described, keep it as it came and write to us. A person will read it, and we will sort it out with you.

Fresh-Frozen Russian Blue Hake Fillets
Frozen Russian Blue Hake Fillets
Russian blue hake, mid-cut into thick boneless fillets and frozen at sea in 1 kg blocks. The flesh is bright white, soft-flaked and mild — close to cod in texture, a touch sweeter, and more forgiving if it stays in the pan a minute too long.
Thaw overnight in the fridge, then pan-fry in butter, bake under a herb crust, or batter it for fish and chips.
- Boneless mid-cut fillets, thick and evenly portioned
- Mild, sweet white flesh that flakes in large pieces
- Frozen at sea in 1 kg packs
- Pan-fry, bake, or batter for fish and chips
